PNoy, binale-wala ang pensyon ng mga lolo't lola

Nasilip ng tagapagsalita ni VP Jojo Binay na si Joey Salgado na aping-api ang maraming senior citizens sa palpak na diskarte ng gobyerno ni PNoy.

Ipinakait kasi ng administrasyon ang pension sa mahigit 55,000 indigent senior citizens sa taong 2014.

Umaasam pa rin ng biyaya ang mga taga-Metro Manila, Bicol, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, SOCCSKSARGEN at Caraga na hindi nabigyan ng pension na umaabot sa P335.738 million.

“The failure of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to distribute the funds to our senior citizens defeated the purpose of the program called Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SPISC), which was supposed to help make life better for our elders who are very close to the Vice President’s heart,” sabi ni Joey.
