PRESIDENTIABLES.PH | Nabahala si Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio sa pasya ng limang senador na sina Vicente Sotto III, Loren Legarda, Pia Cayetano, Cynthia Villar at Bam Aquino na ibigay nila kay Sen. Grace Poe ang natural-born citizen status.
Hinggil ito sa disqualification case na inihain ni Rizalito David. Nilabag daw ng limang senador ang constitution bilang mga miyembro ng Senate Electorail Tribunal na dapat kumilala at magtaguyod sa batas.
“The members of this tribunal have no other choice but to apply the clear letter and intent of the Constitution,” pagdidiin ni Carpio.
